Anti-climb security upgrade for an electrical substation

A utility asset needed a hardened perimeter with an anti-climb barrier that deterred intrusion and met infrastructure security requirements.

Anti-climb security upgrade for an electrical substation
The challenge

The substation's existing fence no longer met the operator's security posture. They needed a hardened boundary with a genuine anti-climb deterrent on top, delivered with the compliance paper trail infrastructure asset owners require.

The solution

We specified heavy-duty security panels on reinforced posts, topped with a razor-tape anti-climb barrier, and supplied the compliance detail (galvanising and standards) alongside the materials. The full system shipped as one package to a single delivery point on site.

The compliance detail came with the order, which made the asset owner's sign-off straightforward. The anti-climb barrier does exactly what it's there to do.
