Long-run galvanised boundary for a rural property

A long rural run is a cost-per-metre problem before it is anything else, and it is fully weather-exposed for its whole service life with no realistic maintenance access along most of it. The ground moves too, so a boundary that follows a hillside has to take the grade without the mesh going slack at the low points.

Heavily galvanised chainmesh on galvanised framework, chosen for service life in full exposure rather than for finish. Barbed topping runs on angled extension arms above the mesh line, adding deterrent height for very little extra material. The run follows the grade with post spacing tightened over the falls so the mesh stays tensioned across the hillside, and access points are terminated into gates hung in the same galvanised system.
